CUSTOMER CASE STUDY
Temporary climate control solution using mobile heat pumps
Project: Logistics
facility Facility size: 15,000 m²
Project duration: 12 months
Solution: Mobile heat pumps for heating and cooling
Challenge
During an ongoing refurbishment, the client’s existing HVAC system had to be taken out of service in stages. At the same time, a stable indoor climate was required all year round to ensure operations, a suitable working environment for staff and the flow of goods at the logistics facility.
Solution
We installed a scalable system comprising mobile heat pumps that could be brought into operation quickly without the need for permanent installations. The solution was designed to provide both heating in winter and comfort cooling in summer, and was distributed across several zones within the facility.
Results
- Stable temperature all year round
- Up to 50 per cent lower energy costs compared with electricity and fossil fuel-based alternatives
- Reduced CO₂ emissions and an improved working environment
- Full operation at the logistics centre without any interruptions
Why choose mobile heat pumps?
Mobile heat pumps are an effective temporary climate control solution that combines high energy efficiency with maximum flexibility. Unlike traditional electric or fossil-fuel-based solutions, the same system can be used for both heating and cooling, thereby reducing both costs and complexity. This makes them particularly suitable for larger premises and longer-term projects with varying climate requirements.
