Climate-smart, comprehensive solutions for Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary

When Gothenburg celebrated its 400th anniversary in June, we at Eltrode supplied comprehensive climate control solutions for some of the event’s main venues. During the celebrations, the venues were used for lectures, presentations and activities organised by several major companies – which placed high demands on a stable, quiet and reliable indoor environment.

The challenge

The event venues needed to maintain a consistent indoor climate regardless of the outdoor temperature. They needed to be able to cool and heat the premises depending on the weather and temperature. With large numbers of visitors and a tight schedule, there was no room for operational disruptions or complicated procedures. The solution had to be efficient, unobtrusive and hassle-free for the organiser.

The solution

We installed energy-efficient mobile heat pumps tailored to the specific requirements of each premises. Our solution made it possible to switch fully automatically between heating and cooling depending on the conditions during the month of June – without disrupting ongoing activities.

All equipment was set up and dismantled in accordance with the organiser’s schedule and integrated seamlessly into the logistics workflow for the entire anniversary celebrations.
