A cooling unit is a stand-alone appliance that produces cold air. A portable cooling system refers to a complete system that also includes the distribution of the cooled air. Eltrodes’ CHC40 Nordic is a portable cooling unit which, via air hoses, functions as a complete portable cooling system – based on the plug-and-play principle, without the need for fixed installations.
Can I hire a refrigeration unit for just a couple of weeks?
Yes. The rental agreement is flexible and can be tailored to your needs – whether it’s for a couple of weeks or a whole year. Please get in touch so we can discuss the details and availability for your project.
Can a portable cooling unit also heat up?
Yes. The CHC40 Nordic is both a cooling and heat pump system in a single unit. This makes it a solution that can be used all year round – you don’t need to change units as your needs vary with the seasons. One unit, one lease agreement.
How large an area can a mobile cooling unit cool?
The CHC40 Nordic unit has an air flow rate of 8,000 m³/h and is suitable for large industrial premises. For very large premises, several units can be combined. Eltrode will draw up a solution tailored to your premises and process requirements – completely free of charge.
